We believe in the power of education and in sharing knowledge.

The group
We are a group of teenagers and young adults who immigrated years ago with our families to the United States.
We acknowledge that we are fortunate to have been exposed to ESL (English as a Second Language) from an early age, and we recognize that it provided us with immense advantage to smooth our transition and adjustment to a new country. On the other hand, we recognize that thousands of immigrants arrive in this country without sufficient English knowledge, and the language barrier may become a daunting obstacle to their adequate settling in America.
We are well aware of the cognitive and social benefits of learning a second language, even for non-immigrants. It provides you with the ability to communicate and connect with people from different cultures and communities, to become open-minded, to gain different perspectives, and to build a positive attitude towards those who are different from us.
We realize that a second language is becoming an increasingly necessary skill and a very desirable trait for employers worldwide.
